Greatsword And Dagger DPS CRIT Build For Throne and Liberty

Jan-08-2024 PST
Greatsword & Dagger Build Setup for Throne and Liberty

In this section, we will provide an overview of the key elements of the build, including stats, passives, skills, and equipment.

Stats:
The primary stats to focus on for the Greatsword and Dagger Build are Strength, which enhances melee weapon damage, HP, and Resistances, and Dexterity, which improves Critical Hit Chance, Movement Speed, and Attack Speed. It is advisable to prioritize improving Strength initially and then allocate points to Dexterity later.

Weapons:
Main-hand: Greatsword
Off-hand: Dagger

The Greatsword serves as our main-hand weapon, while the Dagger is used as the off-hand weapon. These two weapons complement each other effectively, resulting in a powerful combo. It is worth noting that the passives associated with the off-hand weapon remain active even when wielding the Greatsword. The Greatsword offers a variety of high-damage skills with Crowd Control effects, while the Dagger primarily supports these abilities by adding poison, providing a second chance to trigger the damage bonus from Guillotine Blade (refer to below), and enhancing Critical Hit Chance and Crit Damage.

Equipment:
Armour and Jewelry

During the leveling phase of this build, gear is not a major concern. Gear becomes more significant after reaching level 50. Therefore, it is recommended to equip whatever gear you come across and focus on leveling up your skills.

Skills:
Below, we will explain the skills utilized in the Greatsword and Dagger Build. Currently, we are utilizing seven Greatsword skills and five Dagger skills. The Greatsword skills are optimized for maximum damage output, while the Dagger skills offer a balance between damage and mobility.

Skills and Passives Upgrade Priority:
Prioritizing the upgrade order of skills and passives is crucial for smoother combat in Throne and Liberty. However, this process can be time-consuming as it requires "Growth Stones" for upgrades, and obtaining higher quality stones can be challenging. Therefore, it is essential to plan ahead and determine which skills you intend to upgrade first.
